About AIOTI Days 2026
On 28-29 September 2026, Florence will host AIOTI Days 2026, the annual flagship event of the Alliance for AI, IoT and Edge Continuum Innovation (AIOTI), one of Europe's most influential communities in the digital innovation space and a partner in the INCLUDE consortium.
Held at the Fondazione CR Firenze, the event brings together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers and innovators to explore how Generative and Agentic AI, IoT and Edge Computing are moving from experimentation to real-world impact. Across two days, the programme spans some of the most pressing themes in Europe's digital future, including generative and agentic AI at the edge, AI and IoT innovation ecosystems, sustainability and green enablement, energy and 6G convergence, AI-driven chronic care, agritech, and cultural heritage.
With a strong focus on shared standards, open platforms and collaborative architectures, AIOTI Days is a natural home for a conversation about how Europe builds a connected, sovereign and interoperable digital continuum.
INCLUDE's first public appearance
AIOTI Days 2026 will also mark the first event where the INCLUDE project takes the stage, and we're delighted it's within such a relevant community.
INCLUDE will have its own dedicated session on Day 2, Tuesday 29 September, from 14:30 to 15:30 in the Plenary room.
During the session, the project will introduce its mission as the coordination backbone of the 3C Initiative: aligning demand and supply across the Telco-Edge-Cloud continuum, building a shared governance framework, and curating an open catalogue of trusted building blocks. It's also an early opportunity to connect with the stakeholders, from vertical industries to open-source communities, whose input will shape the project's converged Technology Roadmap.
During the same day of AIOTI Days, there will also be a session dedicated to Sovereign & Standardised: Enabling Trusted IoT Ecosystems, and a session from the CEI-Sphere project, part of the wider Cloud-Edge-IoT community whose work INCLUDE builds upon. Together, these conversations reflect a growing European momentum towards digital sovereignty, and INCLUDE is proud to add its voice from the very start of its journey.
